ABB DI840 PLC, Digital Input, Automation Solutions
ABB DI840 is a digital input module with 16 channels, designed for high-speed data acquisition in industrial automation. It supports a wide input voltage range of 24-240 V AC/DC and features galvanic isolation for enhanced safety and reliability. Typical applications include monitoring and control in power generation, water treatment, and manufacturing processes. Compared to the ABB AI830, which is an analog input module, the DI840 is better suited for binary signal processing. In contrast, the ABB DO572, a digital output module, complements the DI840 in systems requiring both input and output functionalities.
